Eddigi legnagyobb megrendelését kapta a kínai Comac repülőgépgyár. Az ICBC, vagyis Industrial and Commercial Bank of China 45 darab Comac C919 típusú repülőgépre jelentette be igényét a tegnapi nap folyamán. A repülőgépgyárnak ezzel összesen 145 gépre vonatkozó megrendelése van a kínaiak új, keskenytörzsű utasszállító típusára. Az Airbus A320 és Boeing 737 piaci ellenfelének szánt Comac C919-es várhatóan 2014-ben fogja teljesíteni első felszállását – adta hírül a kínai Xinhua, valamint a Reuters hírügynökség.

A gyártó honlapján közzétett információk szerint a C919-es típus egyosztályos kialakításban 168, míg kétosztályos elrendezésben 156 utast vehet a fedélzetére. Az alapváltozat 4075km-es, míg a megnövelt hatótávolságú változat 5555km-re lesz képes repülni.

ICBC Leasing, the financial leasing arm of the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, the country’s biggest lender, has a registered capital of 5 billion yuan (US$784 million). It mainly focuses on aircraft and ship leasing.

The leasing company currently owns 70 large aircraft, which it leases to carriers from home and abroad.

COMAC had already received firm orders for 100 C919 jets from China’s four biggest carriers – China Southern Airlines, China Eastern Airlines, Air China and Hainan Airlines – as well as China Development Bank Leasing Co and GE Capital Aviation Services.

A Reuters hírügynökség összefoglalója:

The financial leasing arm of Industrial and Commercial Bank of China has ordered 45 C919s, bringing total orders for the country’s homegrown large passenger planes to 145, the official Xinhua News Agency said.

ICBC Leasing signed the deal with Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China (COMAC), the country’s state-owned plane maker, to expand its fleet to meet the country’s rapidly growing demand for air travel, it said.

As the country’s first homegrown large commercial aircraft, the C919 is designed to compete with Boeing’s 737 and Airbus’s A320 in the narrow-body segment. The test flights for the single-aisle, 150-seat C919 are scheduled for 2014 and delivery is due from 2016.

Neither ICBC Leasing nor COMAC disclosed the value of the order, Xinhua said.

ICBC Leasing currently has 70 passenger planes. It ordered an additional 42 A320s from Airbus in June.

At the Zhuhai Airshow last year, COMAC received orders from four Chinese airlines and two leasing firms for a total of 100 C919s.

The firms ordering planes were Air China, China Southern Airlines, China Eastern Airlines, Hainan Airlines, China Development Bank’s CDB Leasing and General Electric’s GE Capital Aviation Services.
