CAMO Safety and Compliance Engineer
Based in BUD – Office
Purpose of the position:
The CAMO Safety&Compliance engineer fulfils a crucial role in the Safety&Compliance department daily work, enabling safety reporting, safety investigations, compliance audits and identified hazards mitigation to be performed timely and thoroughly. The role reports to the Senior Manager CAMO Safety and Compliance.

Responsibilities:
- Monitoring the compliance with, and adequacy of, procedures required to ensure safe and airworthy aircraft required by ORO.GEN.200(a)(6) and Part-CAMO and verifying in maintenance and airworthiness of the aircraft, that the standards required by the Authority and the Company, are being carried out
- The timely resolution of all issues and non-conformities raised during annual or unscheduled Authority audits or other external regulatory agency audits as may be required.
- Ensuring regulatory compliance and safety performance of external contractors by monitoring, including monitoring of all sub-contracted activities,
- Performs monitoring all activities on continued compliance of Part-CAMO and that contracted maintenance activities are performed in accordance with the contract, performs maintenance quality audits,
- Ensures the relevant quality and flight safety information is promulgated to Wizz Air CAMO staff and maintenance contractors of Wizz Air, supervises compliance with and appropriateness of the procedures described in CAME required for assuring the airworthiness of airplanes,
- Manages the follow up of corrective actions for audit, inspection findings,
- Supervises compliance with the personnel authorizations in CAMO,
- Taking part in development and maintenance of Wizz Air’s Safety Management System
- Processing safety reports related to technical operations and maintenance activities,
- Performs safety investigations and issues safety recommendations related to technical, operations and maintenance activities,
- Manages safety projects and risk mitigation of safety issues (hazards) assigned,
- Edits and distributes safety and quality bulletins,
- Performs safety and quality training for maintenance personnel.
Requirements:
- Relevant high level engineering degree (BSc. or MSc.) in the field of aeronautical technical studies
- Good level of English (Fluent spoken and written)

- Ability to live and work in Hungary
- Knowledge of maintenance methods
- AMOS proficiency
