Operations Safety and Training Program Manager
Based in Budapest
Purpose of the position:
The Operations Safety and Training Program Manager is responsible for the development and continuous improvements of safety training and Management of Change processes, ensuring alignment with regulatory standards and operational needs through close collaboration across departments.

Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the development, maintenance and continuous improvement/review of Wizz Air’s SMS
- Embed MS training program and Management of Change process into Wizz Air’s safety culture
- Follow up and coordination of Management of Change processes in cooperation with relevant Heads, managers and subject matter experts
- Maintain and ensure continuous improvement of Management of Change training program
- Leading the development and continuous improvement of training-related policies, processes, procedures and manuals
- Maintaining training program as defined by WAH OMM chapter 9.
- Analysis of position-related training needs and maintaining the training plans under the supervision of Head of Safety and Compliance and SM Safety
- Ensure training material integration into relevant platforms (TMS / BA training platform)
- Organization and coordination of safety management, FRM, Management of Change and compliance monitoring trainings
- Perform periodic analysis of training effectivity and maintain a systematic methodology for updating training program to remain efficient
- Alignment and close cooperation with WAH Crew Training Department regarding trainer and training program standardization, ensure continuous improvement to the training-related policies, processes and procedures
- Leading and coordination of S&C internal projects
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of overall working experience, with 2+ years of experience with training program requirements and processes
- Experience in management of complex projects
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
- Fluent in English (both written and spoken)
- PC user skills at advanced level (MS Office).
- Good presentation skills
- Analytical skills, creativity
- Ability to work autonomously
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Excellent data analytical skills and knowledge of data analysis methods and statistics
- Excellent usage of IT systems and tools
- Familiarity with aviation SMS requirements
- Knowledge of aviation regulatory regulations
- Understanding of Wizz Air’s safety and compliance management systems
- Good understanding and experience with data analytics and data integration
