Aircraft Engineer
(based in Budapest)

Overall responsibility:
Support the Technical Services department at:

  • Reliability Program support,
  • Airworthiness Review Certificates’ renewal and extension support and coordination and
  • Reporting and processing technical data of the fleet

Responsibilities:

  • Track Wizz Air technical delays every day and collect required details
  • Report technical delay and reliability data internally and to external organizations (LHT, Airbus, IAE)Report fleet utilization monthly internally and other partners (Airbus, LHT, IAE)
  • Update aircraft and engine logbooks
  • Send updates for all approved data internally and to maintenance Suppliers
  • Support reliability data service
  • Creation of continued airworthiness data (such as AD/SB/EO/HT/AMP status reports)
  • Support Lessor audits
  • Manage update of dent and buckle charts (D&BC)
  • Support Aircraft Station License (Radio Licence) obtaining, updating on-board of each aircraft
  • Collect and provide all required data (records and documentation) for continuing airworthiness review certificate renewal and extension to external service provider
  • Support Airworthiness review certificate’s review and extension process including closure of physical and documentation audit and review findings.
  • Other tasks given by the Technical Manager.
  • Support the Airworthiness review processes and procedures
  • Performance of full Airworthiness reviews
  • Perform quality audits at suppliers

Basic requirements:

  • Technical college / university degree
  • 5 years experience with Continued Airworthiness Management (CAMO)
  • Aircraft Maintenance Licence for large jet transport category aircraft preferred
  • Type training (ATA Level III) for A320 family preferred
  • Knowledge of AMOS preferred
  • Fluent English skills
  • Excellent computer skills (MS Office)
  • Assertive personality, accuracy
  • Detail oriented approach
  • Flexibility, ability to react quickly to the operational needs
  • Commitment to deliver quality work
