Budapest Airport Zrt. is looking for an employee to fill the position of
Airline development manager
Scope of the position:
To support the airline development team in their activities. The team’s goal is to increase the number of flights and aviation related revenues at Budapest Airport, to develop and maintain close relationships with existing airline customers.
Tasks:
- To prepare presentations to current and potential clients.
- To assist in working out business concepts, prepare them for decision.
- To develop the company’s relationships with network planning and scheduling managers of current and potential customers.
- To develop the company’s relationships with organizations, businesses and companies with whom joint action can be taken towards airlines in order to increase traffic at the airport.
- To prepare and attend relevant industry conferences.
- To liaise with the local and regional managers of airlines operating flights to Budapest, integrators and general sales agents.
- To maintain and keep up to date the Customer Relationship Database.
- To prepare airline development-related contracts, to administer the contracts.
- To collect, forward and use market information, prepare analyses.
- To support the airline development team with administrative tasks if required.
- To acquire and develop special professional know-how.
Requirements:
- Degree obtained in higher education in the field of tourism, marketing or economics.
- 2-5 years B2B sales/key account management experience
- Demonstrative experience in a consultative sales environment / key account management
- Excellent organization, communication, cooperation and influencing skills.
- High level of spoken and written English language skills.
- Result oriented attitude.
- Good knowledge of MS Office.
- Valid category B driver’s license.
