Join the leadership team at Lufthansa Technik Budapest and take on a key role in aircraft maintenance as a
Base Maintenance Manager!
Your responsibilities will include:
- Full coordination of Base Maintenance activities in line with the Production Director’s guidelines, considering the current status of each bay and project.
- Close collaboration with Bay Managers, the Shop Manager, the Structure Manager, customers, Maintenance Project Leaders, and other departments.
- Aligning and coordinating all Base Maintenance activities to meet project goals, including decision-making and phase planning.
- Actively contributing to the development of business strategies that support the company’s production and financial interests and enhance economic efficiency.
- Overseeing continuous process improvement initiatives.
- Ensuring that maintenance activities are carried out at a high level of quality in accordance with customer expectations.
What we expect from you:
- Several years of experience in aircraft maintenance at B1/B2 level
- Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience in a technical field
- Fluent English and Hungarian language skills (business proficiency)
- Excellent leadership skills, including:
- Strategic thinking
- Decision-making ability
- Outstanding communication and collaboration skills
- Team motivation and development
- Conflict resolution and problem-solving
