Base Maintenance Manager
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing and leading Bay Managers and Shop Managers in order to have an appropriate, complaint and successful daily maintenance operation;
- Ensuring safe and compliant aircraft maintenance processes in all areas of production;
- Knowing and following all ongoing and planned Base Maintenance projects in details;
- Coordinating the entire Base Maintenance activity, in terms of decision-making and phase coordination, in order to achieve project goals;
- Planning production activities (phase- & capacities planning etc.) for all on-going aircraft projects and do the overall coordination between bays and shops in case of challenges, prioritise projects if needed;
- Continuously supervising the implementation of base maintenance technically and timely at a high level of quality in accordance with customer expectations;
- Leading and developing employees of production together with the bay- and shop management team.
- Collaborating and communicating with all internal – and external stakeholders e.g. Customers, Sales, Quality, Training, Material & Logistics, Planning & Engineering etc.
- Ensuring that operational and commercial targets for the base maintenance events are met (.e.g Turnaround Time, Efficiency, Working Time, Material Consumption etc. )
- Driving continuous improvement in production processes and production infrastructure.
- Reporting to the Director of Production and acting as his deputy in case of his absence.
- Supporting the Director of Production in long-term resource planning and strategic development of the production and in increasing economic efficiency, etc.
What we expect from you:
- Long-term of experience and deep technical understanding of aircraft base maintenance minimum at B1/B2 level or other relevant work experience in aircraft base maintenance
- Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience in a technical field / operation
- High level of customer orientation
- Fluent Hungarian and English language skills (business proficiency)
- Excellent leadership skills, including:

- Organisation and coordination skills
- Outstanding communication and collaboration skills
- Conflict resolution and problem-solving
- Analytical-, logical thinking and good planning ability
