In the aviation business, our Swiss parent company, Q.C.M. quality control management AG, is a specialist in training, consultancy, certification, aircraft technical management and flight dispatch. Our organisation is run by professionals trained in aviation with the goal of supporting our clients in the implementation of applicable aviation standards and requirements as well as in continuous compliance with them.

Due to a growing demand for our services, we are looking for aviation enthusiasts to join our ambitious team in our Operations Control Centre in Budapest.

Flight Operations Officer / Flight Dispatcher 100 % (several positions)
(Location BUDAPEST)

If you are:

  • A university graduate or have a minimum of 1-year work experience in aviation (preferably in flight operations)
  • Speaking English fluently (is a must), and speak any other language as an added benefit
  • IT literate with various MS Office applications
  • Experienced in any flight dispatch-related software (please specify in your application)
  • Possessing good interpersonal and communication skills, are stress resistant, team-oriented and able to keep a positive environment for a joint success
  • Willing to work shifts, weekends and irregular hours
  • Good problem-solver, decision-maker and proactive
  • Holder of a flight dispatch (or equivalent) license – an added value but is not a must
  • Reliable, initiative, independent and flexible
  • Entrepreneurial and networked thinking
  • An EU National
  • Willing to work in our Budapest office,

Your Responsibilities as a Flight Operations Officer/Flight Dispatcher:

Flight & Fleet Planning

  • Arrange all services which are relevant to the safe operation of the flight (handlings, overflight and landing permits, overnight parking, fuel arrangements)
  • Determining the most suitable routing considering national and international regulations, meteorological conditions, airspace capacity and passenger comfort
  • Integrating performance data for the aircraft on the routing selected
  • Considering economic aspects such as fuel prices and consumption
  • Worldwide flight planning, including ultra-long-range flights – including in-flight assistance to the crew
  • Flight watch and ATC slot monitoring
  • Consistently performing all tasks and duties with the customer’s satisfaction in mind
  • Active support to the company safety culture and program
  • Preparation of flight documentation

Operations Control

  • Determine whether a particular flight is operationally feasible
  • Taking due account of all regulations relevant to the flight
  • Initiate, reschedule, delay, or cancel a flight

Crew Control

  • Short- and mid-term crew planning
  • Adherence to EASA ORO.FTL and clients’ operations manuals, Subpart-Q
  • Ensuring company, clients and regulatory requirements are satisfied
  • Care for crew travel arrangements
