Navigator Assistant Student
Based in BUD – Office
Purpose of the position:
The Navigator Assistant Student will support the daily work of the Flight Operations Officer by ensuring accurate coordination with air traffic control and smooth communication in the event of operational changes. This role plays an important part in the safe and timely execution of flights across the network.
Responsibilities:
- Keep departure times up-to-date with Air Traffic Control (ATC);
- Delay flights on the ATC side based on pilot requests;
- Distribute flight-related documentation to airports and crew in case of unexpected changes;
- Participate in Operations Control Team meetings.
Requirements:
- Active student status at a Hungarian university
- Proficiency in English
- Strong MS Office knowledge (Excel, Outlook, Power Point, Word)
- Strong team player with good communication and collaboration skills
- Attention to detail and the ability to manage time efficiently
- Flexible, adaptable and willing to take on new challenges Ability to work in 10-hour shifts (10:00 – 20:00) including weekends and holidays, maximum 3-4 shifts/week
