SECURITY OFFICER ASSISTANT (AOC)
Hungary Airlines Ltd. is seeking a motivated aviation professional who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced operational environment and is committed to supporting the safe and secure operations of the airline.
As part of our Security team, you will contribute to maintaining high aviation security standards across our operations in Hungary and throughout our network. In this role, you will work closely with operational teams in Budapest and support the implementation of the airline’s aviation security policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
Main duties and responsibilities:
- Ensures compliance with the HUA Security Plan and applicable aviation security legislation.
- Completes required aviation security training and maintains relevant competencies.
- Supports the development and maintenance of the HUA Aviation Security Training Plan.
- Contributes to the implementation of the HUA Aviation Security Quality Assurance Program, including audit preparation.
- Provides recommendations on security technologies and operational improvements within the Security Department.
- Supports aviation security risk assessments and related security procedures.
- Prepares and administers documentation for security background checks and pre-employment screening.
- Manages security-related documentation, including crew ID cards, airport passes, visitor passes and vehicle permits.
- Maintains records of security documents, access rights and related entitlements.
- Supports the investigation and resolution of aviation security deficiencies.
- Participates in or coordinates aircraft security searches when required.
- Records Security Department meetings and operational activities as requested.
- Supports the procurement and management of security equipment and assets.
- Assists in coordinating response actions and investigations in the event of security incidents or unlawful acts.
Requirements:
- Clean
- Thorough and careful work.
- High attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate security records and documentation.
- Legal right to work in Hungary.
- Fluency in English and Hungarian, both written and spoken.
- Valid driving licence.
Advantages:
- Previous experience in an aviation security / airport security operations / regulatory environment is an advantage.
