Technical Editor

The Technical Editor is responsible for supporting aircraft owners in maintaining the airworthiness of their aircraft in accordance with European regulation EASA Part-M and  also offering additional engineering services. At our location in Budapest, particular focus is placed.

Tasks

Your responsibilities and duties may include the following:

  • Preparation and revision of technical drawings for cabin layouts, equipment and information stickers in cooperation with Aircraft System Engineering.
  • Consolidation and editorial processing of various (e.g. cabin) manufacturer documents.
  • Revision and adjustment of (e.g. cabin) manuals and drawings with the actual aircraft construction details.
  • Preparation and revision of technical aircraft documentation.
  • Administration and further development of the computer application for documenting aircraft master data, flight hours and flight cycles.
  • All other duties as assigned or required.

Requirements

The ideal Technical Editor must fulfill the following requirements:

  • Completed vocational education and qualification as a technical drawer.
  • Excellent computer skills in AutoCAD, Adobe Framemaker and Adobe Illustrator.
  • Computer skills in InDesign, Acrobat X Pro and XML language are an advantage.
  • Advanced English and Hungarian language skills.
  • German language skills are advantageous.
  • Good analytical skills as well as a high sense of responsibility and strong personal initiative.
  • Ability to work in multi-site teams.
  • Open to business trips abroad.
  • Ability to structure, organize and plan complex content.
