Technical Services Engineer

Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support around the clock to the operation in relation to any technical issue related to aircraft component undergoing maintenance check, repair and overhaul
- Study, analyze, and seek solutions to problem related to maintenance, modification, or repair of aircraft, and aircraft components
- Obtain and manage design documents such as Structural Repair Instructions / Structural Repair Approval Sheets, Repair Design Approval Sheet, Repair Deviation Record, etc.
- Determine and manage interchangeability of repair materials
- Assist in damage/defect assessment, prepare damage report, propose repair/rectification solution and liaise with OEM for defects beyond OEM manuals
- Ensure all approved documents released from the section meets the standard operation procedure, authority regulation and customer requirements
- Transcribe appropriate design/technical documents from OEM into Technical Instructions.
- Liaise, discuss on technical matters with vendors, customers, airworthiness authority, and all other Skyways Technics departments
- Liaise with customer/vendor/OEM for any discrepancies regarding the technical manual.
- Check, register, and update Component Maintenance Manuals, Service Bulletins, Airworthiness Directives, Service Information Letters, General Instructions, and Drawings used during our repair processes
- Contribute to new capability technical assessments and implementations
- Initiate, evaluate, develop and recommend improvement to the process to increase the quality of works and safety
- Take reasonable self-care for the safety and health and others who may be affected by the actions or omissions at work
- To comply with relevant statutory requirements, the company’s relevant safety procedures
Minimum requirements:
- You have shown you are able to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels, both inside and outside the organization
- Excellent spoken and written communication in English.
- Strong IT systems skills
- Oriented towards quality, performance, and problem solving.
- Flexiblity and responsiveness
- Strong in prioritization
