Project Manager for Aircraft Transition Services (m/f)

Lufthansa Technik AG is currently seeking a Project Manager in the area of Aircraft Transition Services for our location in Budapest. This area is responsible for supporting aircraft owners in maintaining the airworthiness of their aircraft in accordance with the European regulation EASA Part-M and also offering additional engineering services. At our location in Budapest, particular focus is placed on technical data and documentation as well as the airplane type Boeing 737.
You will undertake the following tasks as a Project Manager for Aircraft Transition Services:
- Lead and manage transition projects for phase-in and phase-out of customer aircraft
- Create commission calculations, technical service descriptions and estimates for transition projects and negotiate together with technical sales
- Plan work packages, define expenses and coordinate order processing
- Support customers during aircraft layover time; Coordinate work packages in close cooperation with responsible aircaft maintenance organisation and negotiate customer’s additional requirements
- Plan and accept services provided by external suppliers for transition projects
- Coordinate procurement as well as preparation of aircraft operation data and maintenance records of customer aircraft
- Prepare status reports on technical and documentary condition of customer aircraft
Your profile
What we expect
University degree in engineering or informatics
- Knowledge of aircraft maintenance and aeronautical legislation is desirable
- Excellent knowledge of English and Hungarian language and computer skills
- German language skills are an advantage
- Strong ability to guide and motivate employees
- Very good analytical skills as well as a high sense of responsibility and strong personal initiative
- Ability to structure, organise and plan complex content
- Good negotiation and persuasion skills as well as assertiveness
- Open to frequent business trips abroad
- Must possess a legal work permit in the country of employment
- Hungarian language is required
