Budapest Airport Zrt. is looking for a colleague for the position of
Security development and special tasks manager
The aim of the position:
Organize and manage the development and/or further development of security concepts, products and processes, coordinate their communication with the affected functional managers and the competent authorities, in the interest of successful introduction.
Manage the testing of security equipment and/or security concepts supported by the European Commission / ACI. Coordinate the updating of the airport Security Program, the Airport Rules and technological instructions.
Acquisition, development and management of security projects, supporting the organization of security-related events.
Tasks:
- Develop and introduce new security products / concepts, develop the current products / concepts, increase their efficiency, manage the related projects
- Manage the testing of new security equipment and/or security concepts supported by the European Commission / ACI, respond to measures proposed by the European Commission / ACI
- Keep the airport Security Program, the Airport Rules and security procedures / instructions up to date, follow statutory changes
- Monitor new security-related regulations and modifications (EU and Hungarian) on a continuous basis, assess their impact on BUD’s security strategy
- Liaise and cooperate with the security officers or designated managers of other airport organizations / companies
- Participate in working groups on the potential modification of BUD’s infrastructure, propose solutions facilitating the maintenance of compliance
- Participate in the regular evaluation and updating of BUD’s Security Strategy, security concepts and Security Management System
- Support the Quality Assurance unit in the implementation of the appropriate chapters of EU regulations
- Support the development and further development of BUD’s Security Management System
- Participate in the activities of authority / government working groups, with the aim of enhancing aviation security in Hungary, on a national scale
- Support the acquisition of security projects in Hungary and abroad, including participation in the bidding phase and the drafting of offers
- Develop security training material on a continuous basis
- Participate in the work of ACI and other relevant forums / working groups on issues / questions relating to security
- Liaise with other EU airports and/or authorities on aviation security issues / questions
Qualification, experience and other required skills and competences:
- Higher education qualification
- Specialist qualification, thorough knowledge of the relevant regulations
- At least 4 years managerial and professional experience
- Fluency in negotiations in English language
- Conversation level English language skills
- Resolute presence, discipline, composure
- Psychological resilience
- Problem recognition and problem-solving ability
- High level communication and decision-making skills
- Conflict management skills
- Knowledge of MS Office
- Category B driver’s license
