Aircraft Engineer

Lufthansa Technik Budapest is looking for an Aircraft Engineer to strengthen our engineering team and support aircraft maintenance and development.
Your Responsibilities:
- Manage defect reports and repair proposals to original equipment manufacturers (such as Airbus and Boeing) and obtain necessary approvals
- Prepare and certify Engineering Orders
- Analyze and interpret aircraft maintenance documentation
- Clarify and update software requirements
- Contribute to major modifications and repairs
- Support troubleshooting and process improvements
- Assist in project preparation and audits
- Provide engineering data to airline representatives
- Collaborate with other departments, Lufthansa Technik network, and Design Organizations
What We Expect:
- University degree in Mechanical or Aircraft Engineering OR EASA Part-66 B1 license + 5 years of certifying experience
- Fluent English (written and spoken)
- Strong technical and mechanical knowledge
- Excellent organizational and planning skills
- Proficiency in MS Office; CAD knowledge (programming skills are an advantage)
- Ability to work independently and under time pressure
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to travel and work in a multicultural environment
Advantages:

- Knowledge of airworthiness requirements and certification standards
- Type training on Airbus A320 or Boeing 737
- Familiarity with aircraft systems, engines, avionics, and structures
