Pilot Recruitment Manager

Purpose of the position:

The Pilot Recruitment Manager is responsible for the oversight of pilot recruitment and job placement. This position ensures all crewmembers fit within our company culture and have the necessary skills to perform their duties. The role ensures the infrastructure and sourcing serves the short and long term Pilot Resources strategic plans as well as adequate and on time reporting is established.

  • Responsible for recruitment efforts from initial sourcing, screening and testing to offer acceptance,for all pilot related recruitment
  • Execute sourcing activities, including but not limited to: active resume database searches, job fairs, industry networking, advertisements, internet posting, building and managing career site for pilots, social media, employment agencies and employee referrals
  • Develops new recruiting sources,makes benchmarks, actively search for new sourcing opportunities and markets to be targeted. Based on these insights suggests changes and launch the approves ones.
  • Oversee and coordinate the pilot recruitment support team (responsible for background administration and running assessment events) as well as external vendors cooperation
  • Participate in identifying recruiting needs, workforce planning strategies, and search assignments
  • Assist with identifying and addressing existing and emerging recruitment gaps, recommend changes and action plans in order to recover for any downtrends, takes ownership in implementation of adjustment and reports status
  • Lead and participate in pilot recruitment and any related projects and programs
  • Develop, in cooperation with the team, strategy to achieve better efficiency while maintaining the highest crew recruitment standards.
  • Provides inputs and lead within area of responsibility projects in order to automate and digitize processesand introduce innovative solutions enabling recruitment at scale.
  • Ensure that KPIs are met, recruitment efforts from initial sourcing, screening and testing to offer acceptance are adjusted to achieve the strategic goals of the company.
  • Create, manage and present the performance reporting on a real time and long term basisidentifying trends and areas of improvement.  Ensure follow up on those improvements.
  • Supports pilot recruitment events, open days and road shows

Requirements:

  • University Degree
  • Min 3 years working experience
  • Able to work in a team oriented, fast-paced environment
  • Experience with all phases of the recruitment life-cycle
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks, meet established targets, and work within critical milestones
  • Strong interpersonal (verbal/written, and presentation), organizational, evaluation, and negotiation skills
  • Strong digital mindset, change driven
  • MS Office literacy especially reporting and managing databases
  • Must be self-disciplined, structured, possess follow-up
